    Sr Project Manager, Global Pharma Product Launch

    Marketing Operations, Boston

    Our fast growing pharmaceutical client is looking for a strong Sr Project Manager who has the ability to drive results in support of a global Pharmaceutical Product Commercial Launch. This Sr PM will collaborate closely with Commercial/Marketing Operations as well as the border launch and enterprise teams. This Sr PM will focus heavily on Global Launch deliverables and timelines for Marketing Operations. This Sr PM will also collaborate closely with the Enterprise PMO, Legal, Medical Affairs, etc. There will be a strong focus on Global Strategy to Local affiliates.

    The ideal candidate will have solid Product Launch experience where they can help provide strategic leadership, ask the right questions, mitigate project risks, and effectively lead the team to a successful product launch. This Sr PM will be looked upon to help build out the overall Master Program Plan, Timelines, and Specific Target Deliverables within Marketing Operations. They will also work to ensure effective communication to the broader Launch teams through SharePoint sites or newsletters.

    This role will be strategic, but will also require a flexible and adaptable individual who does not mind rolling up their sleeves to complete tactical activities such as follow up on deliverables, driving initiatives forward, PPT Slide decks, meeting minutes, etc.

    This role will focus on 2 large upcoming Product Launches. This program will also help to build out a roadmap within Marketing Operations for effective future Product launches.

    QUALIFICATION SUMMARY (3-5 META QUALIFICATIONS)

    ·8+ years of Project Leadership: The ability to execute upon strategic goals. Ability to carry out program management responsibilities such as weekly status meetings, risk mitigation, weekly status reports and financial updates. Effective communication skills. Hands on project leadership experience. Consensus building, meeting facilitation, deliverable follow up, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to bridge Agile and Waterfall methodologies to effectively lead and communicate between different departments.

    ·Pharmaceutical Commercial Launch Experience: The ideal candidate will have experience launching a pharmaceutical product within the US and ideally globally. The ideal candidate will have worked on global pharma launches collaborating with the interdisciplinary functional areas and with an emphasis on Marketing Operations. The ideal candidate will have pre-Launch, Launch, and post-Launch experience.

    • Driver Personality who is Flexible & Adaptable: The ideal candidate will be able to drive results while also learning the internal company culture and being flexible as needed.

    ·No Ego/Team Player: This role will require a mix of strategy and execution and it is important for this consultant to be willing to roll up their sleeves and do what needs to be done in order to accomplish the strategic objectives. At times it could be all hands on desk type of projects.

    • Good communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate and motivate a team of busy professionals. Ability to effectively communicate with and update senior leadership. Ability to handle typical team conflicts and company politics.

    ·Bachelor's Degree is required: Ideally in Marketing, or a Scientific field

    LOCATION & TRAVEL

    Boston MA (The ideal candidate will be onsite 3-4 days per week). Client is open to local candidates or strongly qualified candidates who are willing to travel to be onsite weekly.

    START & TERM
