    Description


    Responsible for managing and coordinating initiatives that support the business' operations and strategic objectives for growth, this person reports to the Director of Strategy and Operations.

    The Operations Manager closely collaborates with the leadership team and partners with cross-functional teams, including those outside the business, to define, justify, prioritize, and coordinate projects.

    Plays lead role in coordinating and tracking efforts to completion and supports business activities and communications, including with key customers.


    Primary Responsibilities:
    Manages, coordinates and monitors progress of major department initiatives, including but not limited to:
    Participates in project management and execution of identified initiatives that will reduce developer friction, improve the team's ways of working and enable the team to move faster
    Execution of strategic training initiatives including support of curriculum creation, scheduling and reporting progress against key milestones
    Helps track results and enforce deadlines to ensure assigned projects are completed on time and within budget. Prepares regular status reports for senior management.

    On an ongoing basis, identifies and escalates risks and challenges and helps problem solve issues to ensure the division's commitments and priorities are being realized.


    Manages vendor resources and processes including:
    Managing bid process and project deliverable attainment
    Managing onboarding and offboarding of vendor consultants
    Execution of long term staffing strategy and detailed tracking and reporting as it pertains to resources and costs
    Ownership of overall vendor process improvements
    Identifies and resolves time, resource, and priority conflicts among projects. Alerts senior leaders to conflicts requiring higher level resolution or intervention.
    Coordinates business activities and communications that support the business' goals, including cross-team collaboration sessions, quarterly updates, and business reviews.

    Owns creation of all materials requested to support corporate content for quarterly business reviews, trainings, and other information needed on an ad hoc basis.

    Analyzes existing and evolving workflows and processes, procedures and methods to ensure effective and efficient business operations.
    Provides decision support through research, analysis of information, and clear presentation of considerations.

    Partners with team members and business partners to support management and financial reporting with particular focus on achievement of company goals through analysis of metrics.

    Includes support for annual budgeting process.
    Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.


    Education and Experience:
    Minimum 3-5 years of experience in engineering operations, strategy, training and/or project management or comparable experience
    Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
    Demonstrated program management expertise, with the ability to handle multiple projectssimultaneously
    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage withstakeholders at all levels
    Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
    Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
    You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
