Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Business Analyst for a DoD contract.


Essential Job Functions

  • Assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components and help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct sessions with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for requirements gathering on current and future work.
  • Support planning and prioritization of epics on the program roadmap and stories within Sprints.
  • Support the development of functional area strategies for enhanced IT.
  • Participate in account strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews to validate enterprise approach and associated work products, coordinating the resolution of highly complex problems and tasks.

Requirements:


Education Requirement:


  • Bachelor's degree in business management, statistics, computer science, or engineering.

Experience Requirements:


  • At least 5 yearsexperience in statistical analysis, data mining / processing, or programming skills
  • Capacity to view the organization as a whole.
  • Ability to focus on endusers.
  • Ability to challenge fundamental assumptions.
  • Courage to deliver into unknown areas.
  • Ability to assume individual and collective responsibility.
