    Description

    As a Senior Manager Product Design focusing on Employee Digital Experience Strategy, your mission is to drive the creation of user-friendly digital experiences for the massive workforce of The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) globally. Collaborating with external partners and internal technology teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Talent Acquisition, People Insights, and HR, you will constantly enhance and revolutionize our employee-facing platforms on mobile and web.



    What You'll Do
    • Collaborate with vendors, designers, researchers, information architects, and content strategists to deliver top-notch experiences for TWDC employees.
    • Inspire innovative design thinking, mentoring designers to solve business and employee challenges effectively.
    • Lead design thinking workshops with key stakeholders to map out strategies.
    • Prioritize exceptional and innovative experiences based on data and user feedback.
    • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to align our design roadmap.
    • Act as the spokesperson for the team's design strategies, engaging with company stakeholders and executives.
    • Drive new concepts through user research, testing, prototypes, and final applications.
    • Optimize our design process from ideation to product delivery.
    • Foster trust, empathy, and growth within the team for successful collaboration.
    • Oversee vendor relationships and build a high-performing team.


    What You Bring
    • Minimum of 10 years in designing consumer-facing digital products (web/mobile).
    • At least 2 years managing diverse product design teams, demonstrating leadership through full product cycles.
    • Expertise in user-centered design, visual design, UX/UI best practices, and motivating teams to excel.
    • Experience in design consulting and creating award-winning employee experiences.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing personal and team-driven impactful work, especially on mobile platforms.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners.
    • A proactive, humble, and driven mindset focused on creating user-centric experiences.
    • Proven ability to influence and make an impact within and beyond your team.
    • Clear presentation style and executive presence to inspire confidence.
    • An analytical approach to data and strategies from short to long-term initiatives.
    • Adaptability, speed, and a focus on quality and scalability in mobile design.


    Education

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of design.
