- Collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, content designers, and accessibility experts to enrich and broaden Experiences design systems.
- Tackle intricate design challenges in simple and user-friendly ways that can scale across multiple products and platforms.
- Lead design explorations for assigned tasks, pinpointing issues, brainstorming ideas, testing solutions, and implementing enhancements to enhance the overall user experience.
- Contribute to the enhancement and expansion of design systems, being adaptable to work autonomously or alongside other designers and teams.
- Cultivate strong relationships with team members, leaders, and cross-functional partners to foster collaboration and innovation on projects.
- Participate in scaling design systems across web, mobile web, native apps (iOS and Android), and emerging technological platforms. Conduct user design research if necessary.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to design systems to drive innovation for improved design efficiency and user experience.
- Champion best practices for design systems, focusing on accessibility, scalability, and performance.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Comfortable working in an agile environment with shifting priorities and uncertainties.
- Experience as a versatile product designer with a profound understanding of UX best practices.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate queries, strategies, design choices, and updates to leaders and project team members as necessary; solid grasp of how communication impacts work and business.
- Proficient in Figma: utilizing, constructing, or managing design systems libraries, including UI foundations, components, variants, component properties, and patterns.
- Experience and knowledge of developing products that prioritize accessibility.
- Capability to build interactive Figma prototypes.
- Knowledge of design systems documentation.
- Background in developing design systems.
- Solid understanding of front-end development technologies to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.
- Understanding of animation/motion best practices and technologies.

Contract Duration: 1 Year
Location: Hybrid in Orlando, FL (Onsite Mondays and Tuesdays)
Compensation: $50-60/hour based on experience
The Experiences Design Systems squad needs a talented product designer to help boost and refine the design systems. As a design systems designer, you'll play a key role in expanding and enhancing the Experiences design systems by conducting research, constructing components, advocating for design system adoption, integrating accessibility, and ensuring scalability across various products and platforms.
