Human Resources Generalist

JELD-WEN is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team with a strong focus on expanding in the HR field. This role involves various HR and Operations tasks such as employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will be proactive in handling internal HR issues that may arise.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees
• Administer human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave
• Participate in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
• Attend employee relations meetings and conduct investigations
• Maintain accurate employee records and handle onboarding and offboarding processes
• Manage job descriptions, oversee safety programs, and coordinate company events
• Perform special HR projects as directed by management

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree; working towards PHR/SHRM-CP Certification
• 4+ years of HR experience
• Experience with various HR systems and knowledge of employment law
