    Systems Engineer

    The Opportunity:

    Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big-picture thinking to make an impact on national security? You understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.

    As a systems integration engineer on our team, you have the chance to build an out-of-band (OOB) network to manage the system if major network troubleshooting is required. You understand Rack and Network design, Network infrastructure, and remote administration technologies.

    You Have:

    • 6+ years of experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoD or Government Agency
    • Knowledge of systems engineering and information technology
    • Ability to develop solutions across software and hardware to solve problems and implement enhancements
    • Ability to investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications and technologies and require involvement from technical personnel across multiple organizations
    • Ability to develop or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability
    • Secret clearance
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science

    Nice If You Have:

    • 3+ years of experience with supporting the engineering of DoD Afloat Network systems
    • 3+ years of experience with DoD System Engineering processes, preparation, and execution of System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs)
    • Experience with remote network administration

    Clearance:

    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
