    HUNINGTON PROPERTIES, INC., is a full-service commercial real estate firm based in Houston. We are presently seeking a proficient, dynamic, self-motivated, and well-organized assistant property manager. This role is responsible for providing support to assigned property managers in all areas of property management, including maintenance, tenant relations, collections, monthly reporting, risk management, and property improvements.

    We are currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager (APM) to join our team. The APM will play a crucial role in providing support to assigned Managers across various aspects of property management, ensuring smooth operations and tenant satisfaction.

    Responsibilities:

    · Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance activities.

    · Manage accounts receivable, rent collections, and tenant notices.

    · Maintain organized and updated resident files and records.

    · Report any property issues or concerns to the property manager promptly.

    · Assist in property improvements and contract preparation.

    · Experience in rent collection and tenant account adjustment.

    · Lease abstracting and implementation.

    · Manage the collection of certificates of insurance.

    · Implement and track work orders.

    Requirements:

    · Proven work experience as an Assistant Property Manager or similar role.

    · Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

    · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    · Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

    · Outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    · Yardi experience is required.

    · Ability to understand comparative income statements and enter variances into an Excel format.

    · Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work independently.

    Monday through Friday with hours of 9:00am-5:30pm.
