- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's business objectives in conjunction with/oversight of the company's marketing team.

- Analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Act as a liaison between clients and the company, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering/designers, project management, and finance, to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Work closely with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing leadership within the engineering consulting industry.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of engineering consulting services and related market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive initiatives that align with overall business objectives.

Description
This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) the Director of Business Development is a key member of the executive team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to expand Rushing's client base, increase revenue, and enhance overall market presence. This position requires a strong leader with a proven track record in sales management, a deep understanding of the engineering consulting industry, and the ability to foster collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
