Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Business Development professional to join our dynamic team at NewCo. This is a full-time role based in Seattle, WA, with the flexibility for some remote work. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy, lead generation, market research, customer service, and effective communication efforts in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in medical device sales, preferably in the ophthalmic/optometry field
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
In-depth understanding of the U.S. ophthalmic devices market landscape, trends, and regulations
Extensive experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams
Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
Strong analytical skills to forecast sales, track metrics, and create insightful reports
Customer-centric approach and proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a scalable sales strategy aligned with NewCo's goals and objectives
Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of highly skilled sales representatives
Set and ensure the sales team achieves ambitious sales quotas and revenue targets
Forecast sales, analyze performance data, and provide regular reports to executive leadership
Identify new market opportunities and develop innovative sales channels
Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and support teams to ensure seamless operations
Maintain and nurture relationships with key accounts and customers
Continuously improve and optimize sales processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness
