    You'll be responsible for setting sales strategies and objectives, identifying sales targets, and evaluating the team's sales performance to help us achieve our sales goals.

    • Assist the Director of Sales in securing appropriate Group and Event business.
    • Respond promptly to inquiries.
    • Cultivate relationships in the Asheville market.
    • Assist in facilitating events and assuring guest satisfaction
    • Outline our sales strategies and objectives to ensure we make our sales goals
    • Cultivate long-lasting customer relationships to meet customer needs, and mitigate any complaints to ensure continued business
    • Lead our sales team by setting a sales plan for each sales representative, identifying individual sales targets, assigning sales territories, and overseeing training programs to make sure they're successful
    • Continue company growth by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs
    • Present sales reports to the team that accurately represent sales efforts including sales progress and volume to more accurately forecast future goalsQualifications
    • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales
    • Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
    • 3+ years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department
