    About Our Client

    My client is a sophisticated law firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. They are a smaller, more collaborative finance team who has a flexible in-office schedule (can be fully remote if in the NYC or Washington, D.C. area).

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze payroll tax data and ensuring that payroll information is reported to federal, state and local agencies
  • Ensure the preparation and processing of accurate withholding tax payments and returns
  • Handle all correspondence with Workday, ADP, and other payroll-related entities
  • Accountable for analysis of all payroll entries
  • Monitor legislative changes
  • Partner with General Ledger Team
  • Generate reports for audits
  • Monitor tax rates

    The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of payroll tax compliance experience
  • BS or BA in Accounting strongly preferred
  • CPP strongly preferred
  • MUST be familiar with ADP
  • Law firm or professional services firm experience preferred
