Azark is seeking an Architectural Coordinator to join our team.

As an Architectural Coordinator you will work on projects in all five boroughs of New York City to expand your knowledge of NYC building codes and regulations, NYC city agencies and expediting processes.

You will be focused on internal communication with our expediting team to ensure All fillings follow all necessary Code and regulations required for DOB approvals or any other departments involve.

AZARK is a mid-sized, interiors-focused architecture firm in fast-paced, multidisciplinary architecture and compliance firm specializing in retail, office, and hospitality primarily in Manhattan.

We are looking for someone who can support and strengthen our team by contributing strong AutoCAD skills towards documentation and in Filling Sets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and Mark Up Architectural Drawings, Filling Sets & Construction Documents
• Coordinate onsite Sign-Offs
• Create and Review Zoning Analysis and Diagrams
• Follow up with pertinent parties to ensure timely submission and fulfillment of DOB requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience working on highend retail and restaurants preferred.
• A professional degree in architecture.
• Highly organized with an attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of NYC Building Code and Zoning Resolution.
• Experienced AutoCAD user
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with departmental personnel, management, contractors, consultants and the general public
• Highly attentive to details, accuracy and visual aesthetic
• New York/Tri-State area resident preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or Certificate in Architecture, Drafting or Surveying
• 7+ years work experience with New York City and New York State Code & Zoning Regulations
• Ability to work independently in a fastpaced dynamic environment
• Project Management Experience
• A fun, energetic approach to work and business interactions

$80, $100,000.00 per year
