    Remx is seeking a Buyer for our client in the Huntington Beach area. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity. Monday-Friday 7:00 to 4:00 pm/ 6:00am to 3:00pm paying $31hrly.

    Position Overview: We are looking for a qualified Buyer with a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing procurement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.

    Responsibilities:

    • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for the procurement of goods and services.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
    • Analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, product availability, and new technologies that may impact procurement strategies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement within the manufacturing industry.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
