    Description

    Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Agile Squad Lead/ PM for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in New York, NY (HYBRID).

    Responsibilities :

    • Focuses on delivery
    • Helps to plan and orchestrate the work for the squad including any external dependencies that may be required
    • Facilitates resolution of blockers for the squad
    • Strives to build a cohesive team by inspiring, coaching and giving constructive feedback to team members
    • Supports the development of the delivery timeline with the Product Owners and Technical Delivery Leader
    • Supports all aspects of production releases including planning, submission of change orders, and communication with the Product Owners.
    • Provides status update on deliverables
    • Hosts daily scrum call
    • The Squad Lead role is a crucial position responsible for ensuring that the team follows agile values, principles, and processes agreed upon by the team. The Squad Lead plays a vital role in facilitating the team's day-to-day activities and ensuring the successful delivery of the product.       • Team Empowerment: The Squad Lead empowers the team by removing any impediments or obstacles that may hinder their progress. They support the team in making decisions and encourage collaboration and self-organization.
      • Process Adherence: The Squad Lead ensures that the team follows the agreed-upon agile processes and practices. They help the team understand and implement agile principles, such as continuous improvement and delivering value to the customer.
      • Communication and Collaboration: The Squad Lead fosters effective communication and collaboration within the team. They facilitate open and transparent communication channels, ensuring that team members are aligned and informed about project progress and changes.
      • Team Development: The Squad Lead supports the professional growth and development of team members. They provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to help individuals improve their skills and achieve their career goals.
    Required Skills :
    • 5+ years of relevant experience leading Agile/Scrum teams in an enterprise environment, preferably financial services
