    Description

    Job Purpose:
    The Production Planning Manager oversee production planning and management activities within the organization. Support the organizational goals in achieving total customer satisfaction.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Develop production plan, budget and timelines according to production specificationsDetermine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specificationsPlan work flow and schedules for production departmentsMonitor production status and ensure timely deliveryIdentify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlinesAssist in production risk assessment and mitigation activitiesNotify customers on any delays and outagesAssist in new production development Be accountable for all data entry points, supervise them and monitor all material movement to be accurate at all times.

    To ensure that all subordinates work follow their own Section Procedure.
    Responsible for coordinating to do the annual physical Inventory checking.
    Be able to address violation to the appropriate department head for corrective actions.
    Know your customer's expectations and drive section to meet them.

    Assist in employee hiring, training, performance evaluation, retention and termination activitiesJob Qualifications:

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree and or equivalent to industry experience Experience: 10 + years of production & warehouse experience (inventory control, leadership experience, logistic)

    Required Skill:

    Must have an understand of Human Resource policies and procedures, area-specific policies and procedures, manufacturing, automation, electronics, systems integration, life cycle modeling, new product introduction, process development and deployment, leveraging Lean / 6 Sigma tools, project and resource planning, and systems implementationWorking knowledge and understanding of MRP / ERP systems, WIP & PlanningExpert level user of MS Excel, Oracle is a plus.

    Computer SavvyAbility to interact and understand IT issues related to business processes and systems changesRequired Training:

    Communication skills, Leadership skillsJob Competencies:
    Good problematic solving skills.
    System Thinking and process oriented.
    Supervisory and Management skills.
    Strong communication skills (verbal and written).Highly analytical with excellent interpersonal skills.
