    Description

    Our client is seeking a candidate to fill the role of a "Service Owner" responsible for overseeing more than 100 front office applications. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex application environments within the banking sector. Candidates should be adept at navigating a diverse array of financial applications and have a solid background in IT support and security management.

    Here's a brief outline of the desired qualifications and responsibilities based on your requirements:

    Service Owner – Middle Office Applications (Application Support Analyst)

    Long term contract

    Hybrid – 1-day onsite Park Ave NYC

    Key Applications Under Management:

    • BanaMex
    • Citi Futures and Velocity
    • Morningstar
    • US Bank Gateway
    • Additional applications such as Bloomberg, Citibank Velocity Online, DB Cash Inquiry, and many others listed.

    Experience Requirements:

    • 3-7 years of experience in application support, technical helpdesk, or a similar role.
    • Experience in banking or financial services is a must.
    • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues with complex front office and middle office applications.
    • Knowledgeable in managing external partnerships and access rights (e.g., Tripartners like Citi Velocity, Deutsche).

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with Bloomberg.
    • Familiarity with IT security protocols and compliance (SOC1, SOC2).
    • Technical proficiency in SQL and Python is a plus; ability to manage user lists off of Azure AD.
    • Experience with IT Security administration of applications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Day-to-day management and troubleshooting of over 100 front and middle office applications.
    • Ensuring proper documentation, understanding the latest features and functions, and conducting internal audits.
    • Solving problems related to application functionality and user access, including break-fix scenarios.
    • Assisting with client onboarding into new systems and ensuring seamless integration.
    • Overseeing and managing the security administration of applications to maintain compliance with industry standards.

    Desirable Additional Skills:

    • Ability to handle technical support for multiple applications and systems concurrently.
    • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
    • Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment without burning out on routine tasks.
