Description

Boylston Staffing is looking for a Staff Accountant for a firm in Boston.Direct Hire role paying 65K-75K with excellent benefits

Duties Include:

Reconciliations, journal entries, monthly financial statements, reporting and flux analysis
Fixed asset processing and reporting tax-related depreciation forecasts
Month-end accounting system close (Elite 3E)
Research company credit card transactions and process the bill monthly
Prepare year-end review schedules and reports
Provide back-up to Accounts Payable and prepare 1099 Forms
Process documentation to support current procedures
Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis, as needed

Qualifications:

3-5 years of previous experience as a Staff Accountant
Ability to understand, adhere to and apply department policies and procedures
Ability to learn and work with accounting software (Elite 3E)
Strong knowledge of MS Office; particularly Excel (VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIF)
Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and equivalent work experience
