    As a Staff Accountant with Blue Matter, you will join an entrepreneurial firm with a dynamic and growing team and have the opportunity to help grow and build the company. Reporting to the Accounting Controller of Blue Matter, you will help own and support key accounting and finance functions and work collaboratively with team members to support the daily operations of the business.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Accounts payable: support tracking and processing vendors payments across multiple departments and geographies
    • Accounts receivable: support client invoicing and collections
    • Reviewing client and vendor contracts
    • Assisting with the monthly close cycle and reconciliations

    Desired Experience and Skills:

    • Experience working in accounting functions (accounts payable, accounts receivable)
    • Superb attention to detail
    • Superior organizational and solid time-management skills
    • Professional presence
    • Proficiency in Excel and experience with NetSuite (or similar financial systems)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business accounting, or related field
    • 4+ years proven accounting experience
    • Working knowledge of accounting and regulatory standards (GAAP)
    • International accounting experience

    This position is fully-remote and working hours need to align with either the Eastern and Central time zones.
