    Development Coordinator - Chicago, United States - Moody Bible Institute

    Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Coordinator will use his/her skills in development communications to further our mission to spread the Gospel to Every Person. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Development, serve as Coordinator for the Development team, a team focused on engaging and expanding Moody's ministry partner base.

    The ideal candidate possesses an eye for detail, excels in managing multiple projects simultaneously, takes pride in completing tasks on time, is described as "highly organized" by friends, knows how to accomplish goals, is comfortable with collaboration and taking initiative, and actively seeks ways to enhance communication.

    Essential Functions

    • Manage the monthly "premium" process including, inventory control & fulfillment
    • Assist with the setup of coding used to track results from a variety of campaigns
    • Ensure that new digital initiatives are operating correctly prior to launch, testing links for premiums and donation pages
    • Work with our Marketing team to review/upload new digital content for our DDRP program
    • Respond to donor inquiries as needed, providing direct assistance or routing them to the right individuals
    • Manage ongoing tasks related to our Monthly Partner program
    • Gather/upload information for receipts
    • Oversee the import of new names into the database for Today in the Word
    • Assist with budgeting including the logging and payment of invoices
    • Assist with the reporting and tracking of direct response performance
    • Occasionally serve as our on-campus representative for education
    • Seek out and recommend opportunities for professional growth
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Ability to take direction and follow through with results
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Assertive and takes initiative
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at once
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Deadline driven
    • Able to work in the US legally without sponsorship
    Preferred Requirements
    • Over one year of experience in a professional environment
    • Experience with project management software and the MS Office Suite

    The Development Team functions in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will work from the Chicago campus each Tuesday (otherwise remote), but consideration will be made for ideal candidates to function in a fully remote environment.

    This is a Full-Time position that operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    No travel is expected for this position.
