    Company Hiring Intro: Modern Expo & Events is Salt Lake's leading independent exposition service contractor, event producer and decorator. Modern Expo & Events has become an industry leader, providing exposition and event services for over 400 events annually all around the country.

    Pre-Hire Job Summary: Looking for something fun, different and challenging? Modern Expo & Events is looking to expand our workforce We are looking for a hardworking individual with a positive, can-do attitude. The following position is currently available: Entry-Level Project Manager in Expo and Events. This is an entry level position with a great opportunity for growth in an exciting field and company. The perfect fit will be a dynamic, creative and experienced event professional that is able to support various projects relating to producing a variety of events. Types of events could include: expositions, trade shows, corporate events, parties & galas, and meetings. The successful applicant will have relevant industry experience, post-secondary education, excellent organizational and communication skills and a demonstrated level of creativity. Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
    • Provide information about the products and services
    • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
    • Document and update customer records based on interactions
    • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
    • Provide administrative support to Project leaders as needed
    • Product fulfilment sourcing & various project research
    • Support with Run of show tasks
    • Maintain exhibitor revenue & relationships
    • Maintain a respectful and growth-based work/office environment

    • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
    • Ability to build rapport with clients
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Positive and professional demeanor
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Passionate about quality of work
    • Quick learner
    • Strong desire to build a career in the event industry
    • Outstanding time management and communication skills.
    • Solution oriented
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar.
    • Willingness to submit professional references from previous clients.
