I am Micah Sims, I am about to graduate from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems. I have a diverse professional background that includes experience in various roles. As a Grubhub driver, I have honed my navigation skills and delivered food orders with exceptional customer service. At Diamond Rental, I efficiently managed inventory and ensured accurate product handling. During my time as a lifeguard at Lifetime Fitness, I maintained first responder skills and prioritized pool safety while providing excellent customer service.

My academic journey culminated in a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of Utah. Throughout my studies, I excelled in courses like Information Systems, Data Structures & Java, and Database Fundamentals. Additionally, I developed expertise in SQL, Java, and Tableau, enabling me to work with data effectively and visualize insights.

I'm completing my Bachelor of Information Systems in Business at the University of Utah in May 2024. During my studies, I achieved a GPA of 3.2 and made the Dean's list in Spring 2022 with a GPA of 3.5. The coursework included essential subjects such as Information Systems, Data Structures & Java, Database Fundamentals, Business & Professional Communication, Foundations of Business, and Business Fundamentals in Accounting and Management. I gained valuable knowledge in SQL, Excel, Java, and Tableau, which are crucial for data analysis and project management, my primary areas of interest.
