Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work in collaboration with leadership teams and key stakeholders to understand, analyze, and communicate product vision and requirements.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into Business requirements.
Provide product and process knowledge to support design, development, testing and execution of solutions.
Collaborate with colleagues and vendors to provide a delivery estimate and gain team commitment.
Manage the product backlog and prioritize it based on changing requirements.
Adhere to the project's timeline and keep the Project Manager apprised of status, issues, and progress.
Work with business areas and QA team to prepare Test Cases, scheduling and facilitating walkthroughs as needed.
Obtain final sign off by the business.
Assist the QA and Business Team during System testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by answering any questions and triaging defects.
Lead weekly meetings with Claims and Billing teams to gather their needs and reviewing their issues. Prepare meeting agendas and minutes.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years' experience in the Property & Casualty industry.
Knowledge and experience with agile software development practices.
Experience in working in a non-structured environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience with Sharepoint, Jira, Confluence and MS Teams.
Strong knowledge of Claims and Billing system.
Experience working with Guidewire INow product is preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information (both verbal and written) to a non-technical audience.
Ability to successfully negotiate with all customers to obtain the most favorable outcome for all.
Experience identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.
Ability to prioritize effectively.
Excellent time management.
