- Coordinate with project managers and job superintendents the staging, loading and transportation of tools and equipment to job locations.
- Develop and implement processes to manage the planning, ordering, and tracking of materials, rental tools, and equipment as well as Company owned tools.
- Negotiate pricing levels with distributors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Reviews project status reports and participate in project status meetings.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and rental equipment.
- Oversee vehicle fleet maintenance and repair.
- Train, develop, and lead purchasing, warehouse and trucking personnel on policies and procedures for purchasing, inventory and deliveries.
- Support safety program policies & procedures.
- Contributes to establishing and managing department budget.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse management, purchasing and logistics in the construction or a related field.
- Knowledge of construction methods, procedures, materials, and tools.
- Proficient in the use of standard office computer programs and construction-related software.
- Effectively communicates with other employees, and project participants.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Have or willing to obtain Forklift operator certification
- Experienced team leader.
- Motivated, self-starter that's creative and organized.
- An individual who can bring new ideas to the team.
- A willingness to embrace software tools and technology.
- Work both independently and effectively with a team to meet goals with accuracy.
