SUMMARY

The Warehouse Administrator will provide administrative support to the Warehouse department, including filling and processing orders, accepting incoming shipments, prescreening calls and emails, maintaining department calendars, data entry, record keeping, filing, and other types of correspondences as required for the efficient operation of the department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSS

• Oversees general organization of the warehouse.
• Performs receptionist duties, including greeting customers.
• Enters purchase order data in the inventory control system.
• Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy.
• Processes invoices, supplying necessary data to accounting or other appropriate department for payment and recordkeeping.
• Assists in preparing warehouse stock requests for orders, bid tabulations, stocking reports, annual contract agreements, pre-quotation bid summaries by the department, and purchase orders
• Receives and tracks incoming deliveries and packages.
• Updates warehouse inventory records.
• Maintains confidentiality of the information processed.
• Cooperates with auditors, as necessary.
• Follows general company policies and procedures.
• Works a scheduled shift of 9:30am - 6pm, Monday - Friday.
• Participates in continuous learning & development and training initiatives through department specific trainings, MN Air University, HR training programs, tech-support led courses, Webinars, or other job-related trainings to foster a continuous learning and development mindset

Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Proficient with inventory control systems (SxE, NXT)
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workload with competing deadlines
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Drive
• Ability to work well independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working both as part of a team as well as individually without direct supervision

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Demonstrated administrative support experience (required)
• Experience using different database management systems (preferred)
