- Establish relationships with senior stakeholders and take full ownership, oversight, and responsibility of growing and managing Agencies as a business vertical
- Align on and influence strategic objectives and plans to achieve account expansion and increased adoption
- Together with CSMs, be responsible for the account plan and plans for key customer initiatives
- Coordinate execution on a high level by setting clear goals and priorities, ensuring global alignment and knowledge transfer, and making sure key relationships are owned by the best people
- Create multiple feedback and critical issue channels within the account to ensure steady progress and flow of feedback
- Ensure product roadmap alignment and product team interaction with customers
- Own revenue forecasting and target setting for your agency book of business
- Own pipeline and opportunity management in Salesforce
- Have a hunger to close opportunities, make progress quickly with strategic account planning and be incentivized by commercial success
- Have at least 8-10 years of experience in working in or directly with media agencies
- Have an extensive network amongst the 'Big 6' agency holding companies and/or large independent agencies
- Have previous experience in paid social, self-serve platforms, auction environments, and/or programmatic ad products
- Are naturally inclined to lead, organize, and run a key account team
- Are driven by sales, relationship building, account expansion, and helping your partners achieve their business targets and marketing goals
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to create connections and engage confidently with a variety of audiences, including C-level decision-makers
- Invested in learning about Smartly's suite of products, to effectively sell up to the C-suite or down to end-users as needed
- Ability to collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (product, marketing, engineering, customer success, etc.)
- Have record of meeting and exceeding quota on a consistent basis
- Are able and willing to travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events
