Innovative Foodservice Group is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to hire, train, and lead a team of 5-7 sales reps in the Central Florida market. We are looking for an experienced sales manager who has lead a team before with a proven sales track record and success.**
**Summary:**
To direct a total effort toward the achievement of the Regional/District goals and objectives. Sells the organizations products by hiring, developing, and managing the IFG sales team. This position requires a broad knowledge of the organizations products, services, and marketing techniques. An Innovative Foodservice Regional Sales Manager (RSM) shall follow the course of the highest honesty, integrity, and trust, and will adhere to the companys policies and standards of conduct in his/her business relationships.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**
To recruit, hire, train and manage sales force towards company objectives. The purpose of which is to build a larger and more focused sales organization, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring that we provide a proactive consultative sales approach to our customer base.
To develop a multi-unit/chain account business. The RSM must prospect and grow these opportunities to supplement the sales goal within the territory. These accounts will be managed and developed by the RSM.
To establish relationships with existing key customers and to ensure their growth. This is to include all existing national account businesses such as SUPPLY AMERICA as well.
Works with the sales team to develop and maintain an active prospect list. New account prospect calls must be incorporated into all weekly call plans.
Work with the DIRECTOR OF SALES on all sales meetings and marketing opportunities. Attends and participates in mid-month and monthly branch sales meetings.
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples and catalogs to emphasize features and benefits on every call. Keeps informed on new products, pricing, and other general information.
Works with credit department to set credit terms for orders obtained.
Responsible to work with the sales team on all collections of accounts. Communicates account activity to maintain a high level of follow-through re: credit, collections, and adjustments.
Works with sales team to maintain daily contact with internal departments, customers, factory reps, and other outside sources.
Checks on competitive sales and pricing activity in the area.
Work with all National Account sales representatives from the E.H. THOMPSON CO. and LOUIS WOHL and SONS, INC. teams to further their sales goals.
**????Qualifications:**
**3 or more years in sales management calling on Restaurants and Hospitality in the Florida market**
**knowledge of hospitality and restaurant purchasing**
