    Job Description Summary

    The Executive Assistant directly supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is responsible for planning and managing activities by using strong leadership and problem-solving skills to assist with the daily operation of the organization. This role is highly collaborative, cross-functional, and impactful. The Executive Assistant acts as the executive liaison between senior management, board of directors, external business partners, patients and other employees.

    Essential Functions

    • Manages the CEOs complex calendar to schedule meetings and travel by prioritizing their time and schedule
    • Collaborates with the CEO to determine and prioritize business strategies
    • Represents company and CEO in different environments that can include interviewing, C-Suite meetings, events, and community events
    • Serves as an executive liaison between the CEO and other senior managers
    • Plans, coordinates, and leads meetings, when necessary
    • Attends and coordinates all aspects of the board of directors and board committee meetings to include taking meeting minutes
    • Provides tactical support to implement ideas
    • Works with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals, projects and initiatives
    • Responds to inquiries on behalf of the CEO
    • Assists with strategic business initiatives
    • Identifies and helps solve core problems or opportunities within business processes
    • Completes critical aspects of deliverables that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively lead the company

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 10+ years of experience working directly for a CEO and other C-Suite executives
    • High level of integrity and discretion in handling all confidential information; high emotional and analytical intelligence
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently to solve problems and anticipate needs
    • Strong executive-level presentation, written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong project management, organizational, planning, and prioritization skills with the ability to make high-level decisions independently when necessary and ability to collaborate closely with other internal stakeholders for input
    • Ability to anticipate executive's needs, self-manage, and upward manage as well as multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to manage a complex, rapidly changing executive calendar and manage multiple assignments
    • Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations, guiding and advising peers and executives, and appropriately challenging status quo
