THE POSITION:

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:


In this position, you will be responsible for conducting various analytical tasks to improve systems, reduce costs, and enhance programs for the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review (UCBR).

This will involve supervising a team of Management Technicians who train new clerical assistants in the UC referee offices.

You will also collaborate with the UC Benefits Modernization (Ben Mod) team to advance system development and provide necessary updates to field office staff.

Your duties will include managing project-related analytical tasks, overseeing the implementation of new procedures, monitoring system change requests, and testing updates before they are implemented.

Additionally, you will gather feedback, work with UCBR teams to improve organizational performance, collaborate with other program areas and vendors, and establish timelines for Ben Mod milestones.

You will collaborate with UCBR's project lead for the Unemployment Compensation Benefit Modernization System (Ben Mod). Evaluate how the development of the Ben Mod system affects UCBR's initial appeal operations.

Coordinate with the Program Analyst to guarantee that the system development meets the requirements of both UCBR and the department.


You will be responsible for creating and managing the training program for Clerical Assistant 3s at the UC referee offices.

Supervise a training team of four Management Technicians who offer training to clerical assistants. Offer training to Clerical Assistant 3s on-site and assist field offices with inquiries when Management Technicians are not present.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:


  • Fulltime employment.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday
  • Friday, with 30minute lunch. Work hours are negotiable.

Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week, upon satisfactory completion of training. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office closest to your home.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:


QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:


  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree;
    or:
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
