Summary:


The Central Pennsylvania Market Director is responsible for creating and maintaining an effective marketing/sales program, throughout the Central Pennsylvania area, for Quandel Construction Group.

Business development activities include an assurance that continuity of contact and company relationships are created and maintained with decision makers, architects, engineers, consultants, bankers, and associations.

Through these relationships, the Central Pennsylvania Market Director generates and advances sales approaches through Opening Game, Mid Game, RFP, Proposals, Presentation, Negotiation to Contract.


What You Will Do:


  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads and prospects and understand industry trends in the Central Pennsylvania area including Dauphin, Lancaster, Cumberland, Perry, York, and Lebanon counties.
  • Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve annual targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decisionmakers, influencers, and partners.
  • Work closely with Pyramid Construction to coordinate sales and business development efforts.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation.
  • Conduct necessary research and reconnaissance to prepare for proposals and presentations.
  • Develop proposals and presentations to effectively communicate Quandel's value proposition.
  • Track and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Attend industry and community events, as well as trade shows to generate new leads and build brand awareness.

What You Will Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or related marketing and sales role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Work environment/physical demands:


  • Work a variety of hours (days, evenings, nights, weekends) up to 10 hours per day, 5 days per week primarily in a professional office environment. Some local travel will be required.
  • While performing the essential functions of this position, must regularly see, speak, and hear; frequently stand; walk; occasionally kneel and stoop; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
