    About the Role:


    We're seeking an energetic Technical Support Engineer to join our expanding End-user Services team. Your responsibilities include managing service tickets, aiding in new hire onboarding, providing on-site technical support, handling AV systems, and offering support for live events, such as company-wide All Hands meetings.

    If you're someone who wants to contribute to our Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations growth while delivering exceptional customer service in a friendly and diligent manner, this role is for you. Reporting to the Senior Manager, End-user Services, this position is based in our San Francisco office and requires presence at least three times a week.



    You Will:
    • Provide personalized technical support to global Twitch employees regarding IT and AV equipment.
    • Troubleshoot user issues related to network, access, software, and hardware.
    • Manage hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, including deployment, retrieval, and secure disposal.
    • Support on-site events, including the weekly company All Hands broadcast, and collaborate with team members for successful delivery.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot conference room AV technology, Games Lab, printers, and other IT-related site equipment.
    • Enhance our existing knowledge base and create new articles based on emerging workflows and systems.
    • Identify blockers to users' work efficiencies and recommend process improvements.


    You Have:
    • 4+ years of experience in an IT Support role involving Audio Video systems.
    • Broad knowledge of managing and troubleshooting personal devices like Mac, Windows, or Linux in an enterprise environment.
    • Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols.
    • Familiarity with various collaboration tools and AV systems like Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Chime, and Cisco room systems.
    • Knowledge of Audio Video system configuration and administration.
    • Exposure or some experience in scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
    • Awareness regarding Security standards.

    Bonus Points:
    • Advanced Windows, macOS, or Linux systems administration skills/certification.
    • Experience with Google Workspaces, Slack, or ServiceNow.
    • AV industry certifications.
    • Familiarity with Twitch.
