    Job Summary:
    Financial Analyst Food Solutions utilizes analytical and business skills to efficiently and effectively support the Food Solutions' team in all financial planning, analysis and reporting needs, this includes: supporting monthly analysis and reporting process, annual Budget process and long-term Business Plan cycle

    The position requires analytical and business skills as well as extensive utilization of various financial management systems (Hyperion Financial Management and SAP), CRM tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

    The position requires attention to detail as well as good collaboration and communication skills as the role interacts with group, regional and country level teams
    The Financial Analyst Food Solutions will also support business development projects in the area of adjacent businesses for the Group: such as train operators, packaging customers, retailers and innovative food solution providers

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:
    Support and coordinate monthly reporting process within assigned area and liaise with the Financial teams in the Regions to ensure high quality of reporting data and consistency with the overall reporting guidelines of the Group
    Assist regular Management and Shareholder reporting based on unified Group reporting standards and templates, ensuring consistency of data input and output according to the different layers of detail
    Provide Financial support in the development of Customer Tenders, Business and Investment cases including the on-going analysis of current and future projects and preparation of supporting presentations
    Project Management support for the Food Solution segment
    Develop and manage the internal Food Solutions communication via various streams, for example: Internet, newsletter,...
    Run ad-hoc financial reports and conduct analysis as required using systems such as Hyperion Financial Management, SAP and SAP BW
    Driving the improvement and standardization of Master Data within the Foods Solution's business, working closely with the local Finance teams to ensure accuracy and a consistent application
    Work closely together with peers within Group Controlling as well as other teams including: Group Finance, Treasury, Accounting, M&A and Commercial
    Ensure internal processes and policies are followed
    Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required (Finance, Business or Economics majors preferred)
    Master's degree in one of the above subjects is preferable

    Work Experience:
    Minimum 3 years post-graduate degree experience in finance, controlling and/or accounting within an international, large size company desired
    First experience/exposure to consolidated financial statements and consolidation and reporting systems of a large multinational company is a plus
    International experience is preferred (work or study experience abroad)

    Technical Skills:
    (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and well developed attention to detail
    Structured and logical approach to handle, analyze and report big data sets
    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
    Strong drive to explore and exploit systems capabilities using modern management information systems
    Outstanding practical knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel and Power Point)
    Experience with Hyperion Financial Management, SAP (predominantly FI/CO) and SAP Business Warehouse preferred.
    Previous exposure to Salesforce CRM tool would be an advantage

    Language / Communication Skills:
    Fluency in English (must) and German (is a plus) language, other languages beneficial
    Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
    Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with different hierarchy levels in the organization as well as demonstrate sound judgment and reasoning skills when interacting with various stakeholders across our global organization

    Other Skills:
    Ability to work effectively with people in a matrix organization.
    Ability to prioritize, organize and execute assigned tasks and handle multiple competing tasks simultaneously
    Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic and decentralized environment
    Ability to handle changing priorities and to operate well in times of ambiguity
    Must be persistent in the pursuit of achieving the defined goals when working with the rest of the organization
    Proven Project Management skills
