    Cullerton Gorup has a new opportunity for an ERP Application Support Engineer in Lincolnwood, IL. The work will be done onsite four days a week and the rest will be work-from-home.     Job Title: ERP Application Support Engineer

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled ERP Application Support Engineer with a strong focus on operations to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the ERP system that underpins core organizational functions and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aiding users to maximize system functionality, analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, managing the configuration and maintenance of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, utilizing SQL skills for data analysis, and overseeing system enhancements. An in-depth understanding of manufacturing operations and processes, alongside expertise in SQL and Crystal Reports, is essential.

    Responsibilities:

    System Administration and Support: Manage the ERP environment, including setup, configuration, and routine maintenance. Provide technical support to resolve user issues promptly. Train users to ensure efficient and effective use of the ERP system.

    Process Optimization: Collaborate with operational teams to understand process requirements and challenges. Develop and implement ERP solutions to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and support business growth.

    Data Management and Integrity: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data within the ERP system. Implement data controls, validation rules, and conduct routine audits to uphold data quality. Employ SQL for advanced data management and analysis tasks.

    Customization and Integration: Tailor and configure the ERP system to meet specific operational needs. Ensure seamless integration with other business systems and applications to enhance functionality and data flow. Utilize SQL and Crystal Reports for custom reporting and data visualization.

    Project Management: Lead ERP projects, including upgrades, migrations, and the deployment of new features. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.

    Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards, using Crystal Reports and SQL to provide actionable insights and analytics that aid in decision-making and performance monitoring.

    Required Qualifications:

    Extensive experience in ERP system administration, with a focus on manufacturing operations.

    Proficiency in SQL, Crystal Reports, and SSRS for data management, reporting, and analytics. Skilled in crafting SQL Queries, Triggers, Functions, and Procedures.

    Strong project management capabilities, able to handle multiple projects concurrently.

    Demonstrated analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Over 5 years of ERP experience in a manufacturing/operations context.

    Scripting/programming skills in PowerShell, VB Scripting, Windows Batch Files, or Python.

    Familiarity with EDI transactions (810, 850, 855).

    Experience in Systems Administration within a Windows Servers/Microsoft 365 environment.
