Then we are looking for you as a scientific employee in the field of simulation of forming machines at our location in Chemnitz. The position will be filled at our main location in Chemnitz.

"Research for the future" is the motto of the Fraunhofer IWU. The focus is on applied research and development in the fields of production technology and robotics for the automotive and mechanical engineering, aerospace, medical technology, as well as precision and micro technology.

The Department of Machine Tool Technology focuses on the development, design and analysis of the properties of production machines and their components. A growing focus is on digitization, especially in connection with intelligent components, digital machine twins and software-based assistance systems.
