Job Summary

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manage and lead a team of production support engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Development and implementation of technician training
  • Oversee the daytoday production support activities, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure effective communication and coordination of support activities.
  • Develop and implement best practices, processes, and procedures for production support, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing proactive measures to enhance system stability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of new releases and updates, minimizing downtime and impact on production systems.
  • Coordination and scheduling of periodic maintenance on equipment.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and driving continuous improvement.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance production support processes and tools.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
  • 810 years of experience, preferably in a regulated industry
  • 3 years experience managing production support teams in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong technical background, with handson experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Lean or Kaizen experience a plus
