- Prepare tax returns and coordinate client tax documents for complicated and high net worth individuals.
- Contact clients and revenue agencies to obtain necessary documentation
- Interact with other departments within the company to effectively prepare client returns.
- Bookkeeping as needed
- MINIMUM of 2 years of tax preparation experience (Federal & All States)
- Experience with reading and understanding IRS wage and income transcripts
- Experience preparing individual 1040 returns
- Ability/experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Maturity, dependability, strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Must be software literate - including MS Suite.
- Experience with PTIN or CTEC
- Experience with ProSystem
- Bookkeeping experience

We provide our clients with a full range of services including business consulting, tax, and attest services. We focus on establishing long-term relationships with out clients and team of tax professionals. Our team is committed to growing the capabilities and knowledge base of our employees. At Saffer & Flint Accountancy Corporation, we are looking for the right candidate to join our team-oriented environment that focuses on long-term fulfillment and professional growth.
This is not a seasonal role - this is a full-time year-round position.
