- Minimum of THREE to FIVE years tax experience experience working as a tax preparer in a Business Management firm REQUIRED
- Familiarity with accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- ProSystem Fx, Datafaction, and possible QuickBooks/QB Online experience a major plus
- Ability to work independently and work on a return from start to finish
- Strong attention to detail & excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple returns throughout the season
- Tax Preparation Certification, Enrolled Agent or CPA license required
- Preparation of Corporate, Partnership, LLC, Trust, and Individual tax returns (can range from simple to complex)
- Preparation of yearend projections
- Review of financial statements and/or records for accuracy
- Communication with account managers and/or clients in order to obtain any missing information
- Assist with tax notices, making tax payments, state tax filings, and/or other tax matters that may present themselves
- Scanning of tax documents
