    Description

    Job Title: Custom Club Builder / Sports Assembler

    Pay Rate: $16 - $17/hr

    Duration: 6 months + (can be extended)

    Location: Carlsbad, CA 92008

    Overview

    The Custom Club builder is responsible for assembling custom golf clubs in a fast-paced time sensitive environment. This position receives work orders, confirms club components, and assembles components using a variety of tools and machines. The Custom Club builder is

    responsible for overall quality of the product, final packing, and shipping.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Assembly of golf clubs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
    • Works with rulers, gauges, hand tools and machines to complete assemblies
    • Work with varies solvents, for example alcohol and acetone
    • Responsible for overall club quality and meeting club specifications.
    • Responsible for work area cleanliness and safety
    • Able to read and understand work instructions and specifications
    • Other duties may be assigned
    • Represent the brand and utilize the 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes, and practices.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Golf Club assembly preferred
    • High School diploma
    • Must have a good work ethic
    • Able to lift 10-20 pounds throughout the day; stands for long hours
    • Ability to perform basic math calculations
    • Solid manual dexterity
    • Prefer at least 2 years' experience performing assembly / manufacturing
    • Prefer a manufacturing background
    • Should be able to work daily overtime and weekends when needed
    • Good verbal and written communications skills
    • Desire good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to adapt to constantly changing manufacturing requirements.
