    About Us

    Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is a non-profit organization that assists immigrants, refugees and low-income families in Chicago and its suburbs. Founded in 1981 by ethnic Chinese refugees from Vietnam, the organization today has expanded to a staff of approximately three hundred employees who speak over twenty languages. CMAA services include after-school youth programming, job training and placement for adults, and elderly care for seniors.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is looking for a detail-oriented and committed program coordinator to provide day-to-day administrative support for our Social Services Department.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities

    Social Services Department
    • Lead in coordinating outreach activities.
    • Lead communication activities internally and externally for the department.
    • Develop information and resource material for the department.
    • Participate in mandatory programmatic training.
    • Conduct client intake and refer to the appropriate staff
    • Track and maintain outreach and communication activities.
    • Support in the planning and recruiting of workshop/event's participants.
    • Perform duties as assigned.
    Requirements
