DePaul College Prep seeks a collaborative and strategic professional for the position of Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
The individual will report to the Director of Strategy and Communications and work closely with colleagues in the Office of the President, Principal, Advancement, Admissions, Student Life & Activities, Mission & Ministry and Athletics to drive communication and marketing efforts.
Primary Role & Responsibilities
- In relationship with the Director of Strategy and Communications, the coordinator will develop and maintain the marketing communications structure, across multiple platforms, to ensure progress of the school's strategic vision, especially within school enrollment and fundraising objectives
- Maintain and ensure fidelity to the school's branding and graphic identity standards
- Primary publisher, editor and content creator for school website (Finalsite), including online forms for donations, tickets and guest registration, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information and dates
- Design marketing pieces for external and internal audience, including the annual report, materials for admissions and recruitment, fundraising and special events, capital campaign, summer camps and parent programs
- Create content and presence for DePaul Prep social media platforms and engage followers (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube); coordinate and collaborate with school departments and their corresponding social media handles
- Promote special events for the Institutional Advancement Office and other departments in the school
- Coordinate with the President and the Director of Strategy and Communications on the writing and distribution of press releases and coordination of local media representatives
- Assist the Admissions Department in the creation of print materials, including the admissions viewbook, posters, brochures and postcards
- Help in planning and attending specific special events in the Advancement and Admissions area, which include occasional evenings and weekends
- Spirit Wear design and branding
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in marketing, public relations, communications or related field
- Experience in website editing
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Digital photography capability
- Strong proficiency in writing content that is clear, engaging, timely and represents DePaul Prep's mission, vision and core values
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines and work collaboratively
- Proven track record in relationship building with both external and internal audiences
- Commitment to DePaul College Prep's mission, vision and core values
