    ECHO's New Mexico Programs aim to expand public health programmingfor rural and underserved areas within the state.

    As a successful NM Program Grants Manager, you will play anactive role in collaborating with NM Programs' leadership and otherorganizational team members to:
    Responsible for the coordination resource planning, budgetplanning and pre-planning operations for NM Programs Grants.

    Manage coordination resource planning, budget planning, andpre-planning operations for NM Programs GrantsCoordinate collaboration, development, and preparation ofassigned New Mexico ECHO grants that include the following:CDC Advancing Health Equity in DiabetesFORE Vulnerable Families and ChildrenHRSA Telehealth Technology-Enabled Learning Program (TTELP)Con Alma Health FoundationUSB OptimusSOR New Mexico CHW/PSW Opioid TeleECHO ProgramDesigns and implements systems to track and monitor grantwork plans, deliverables, activities, milestones, and accomplishments.

    Creates and distributes grant summaries and achievementsEnsure grants are in compliance with grant deliverables andfunding requirements; provide guidance and support in the identification anddevelopment of grant opportunitiesDesign and implement systems to track and monitor grant workplans, deliverable, activities, milestones, and accomplishmentsCollaborate across organizational teams and universitydepartments to provide strategic direction in the planning, development, andimplementation of Grants deliverables and reporting processes, including butnot limited to Grants, Replication, NM Programs, Communications and Marketing,Education, Finance, REDI, JAO, IT, iECHO, IRB, etc.

    Provide grant reports and program updates in support ofpromoting existing programs and ensure frequent and timely communication withfunders and NM Programs Director and Deputy DirectorProvide leadership and collaborates with the NM ProgramsTeam and Director of NM Programs with grant prospect research and identifyingpotential grant opportunities based on the NM Programs Team needs and strategicgoalsCollaborate with the Medical or Program Directors and SeniorProgram Managers to conceptualize programs and assist with pre-planning tasksProvide strategic advance and consultation to leadership inthe development, implementation, and evaluation of modifications andenhancements to existing grant procedures and systemsMaintain knowledge of grant deliverables and communicategrant issues and modifications to NM Programs staff regarding grantdeliverables, grant budgeting, and changes to scope of work within assignmentgrantsProject ECHO is unique and innovative center based within a vibrant academic community at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center.

    Project ECHO is funded in part by philanthropic grants and gifts from organizations such as the GE Foundation, the Helmsley Charitable Trust, the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, the Merck Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the US Government.

    Additionally, for programming benefitting New Mexico we receive support from the NM Legislature, the New Mexico Human Services Department and the New Mexico Department of Health.

    Conditions of EmploymentMinimum QualificationsSuccessful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours;at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

    Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
