- Responsible for directing the work of a professional subordinate staff.
- Supervisory duties include full responsibility for all personnel actions associated with a subordinate staff and major responsibility for decisions concerning organizational structure, resource requirements and workload management.
- Prepare and present information concerning procurements, status briefings and recommendations.
- Draft special contract clauses, justifications, and evaluation reports.
- Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
- Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
- Evaluate work performance of subordinates; recommends performance pay increases, awards or bonuses.
- Make personnel changes; gives advice, counsel, or instruction to employees; and identifies and implements developmental and training needs of employees.

Summary
You will serve as the Director, Contracting Operations Division, Office of Partnership and Acquisition Services, leading ~55 acquisition and grant management professionals in the implementation of DOE/NNSA acquisition activities to acquire goods and services for NNSA to include Construction, Supplies, Services, Interagency Agreements, Financial Assistance, Utilities. In addition, you serve as the principal procurement advisor to the NNSA Administrator for other-than-M&O actions.Duties
