    Description

    Description:


    • Matches invoices, receivers, and purchase orders daily.


    • Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.


    • Post monthly accounts assigned general entries and perform assigned account reconciliation.


    • Executes necessary reports and processes computerized accounts payable checks.


    • Distributes checks and supporting documentation to authorized personnel for signatures.


    • Processes manual checks, foreign drafts, and wire transfers as needed.


    • Maintains W-9s for all vendors.


    • Performs detailed analysis of specified accounts to ensure proper accounting standards have been met.


    • Create new and update existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


    • Assist in all required processes related to Finance and Accounting document retention policies and procedure.


    • Works with vendors and various departments to resolve problems and maintain relations.


    • Maintains all accounts payable files.


    • Fosters an environment which promotes goals, values and operating models and encourages continuous improvement.


    • Expected to advise the Accounting Manager or Director immediately of any errors, irregularities or significant adjustments or journal entries as they occur.


    • Performs other duties as required.


    • Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

    Required Education and Experience

    High School Diploma with three (3) years in Accounting or Associate Degree with Accounting emphasis

    Preferred Education and Experience


    • Experience with JD Edwards


    • Experience in Manufacturing AP


    • Strong skills in Excel

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications


    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work


    • Demonstrate good organizational skills and good follow-up techniques

    Experience Level:

    Intermediate Level
