    Summary

    Revolution Technologies is hiring a NOC Operations Manager for our leading financial client Launch your career to the next level with a fantastic organization. This is an onsite position and 6 months contract-to-hire.

    Key Skills and Experience Required

    • Proven leadership experience managing a team of 4+
    • Comfortable working Thurs – Sat, 7AM-7PM
    • 5+ years of experience running UNIX, Linux, and IBM Pure Technology in a production environment

    Job Description

    The Operations Manager provides leadership to the Operations team to ensure transactions are processed with the highest level of quality and in a timely manner.

    • Responsible for supervising the process for bank settlements and cut-offs
    • Ensure all incoming inquiries are responded to in a timely and accurate manner
    • Supervise desktop exercises with staff to maintain incident readiness
    • Ensure documentation accuracy and development for day to day process
    • Issue resolution and closure on internal issue tracking system
    • Supervise weekend testing when assigned
    • Ability to implement procedures and policies for new business; coordinate and partner with internal business units
    • Effectively handle system and staff concerns with proper escalation to appropriate subject matter experts and management
    • Ensure the training and cross training of staff on all client applications and systems
    • Supervise day-to-day shift operations

    Qualifications

    • Proven leadership in managing personnel in a data center environment
    • Create and maintain formal operations and procedural documentation
    • Knowledge of Networking systems and managing Major Telco providers
    • Working knowledge of standard computer software, including MS Excel, Office and Word
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or a minimum of 5-10 years practical work experience
    • 5+ years of experience running Linux, Unix, and IBM Pure Technology in a production environment
    • Experience in administrating and troubleshooting applications in a large production environment (24X7)
    • Experience with AIX 5.x, 6.x, 7.x
    • Relevant experience in Banking or Financial institutions
    • Must provide coverage for either day or night shift and be available to work weekends if needed
    • Must have experience working in a Mainframe and Windows Distributed systems environment
    • Formal training in network, computer or server technology
