The Grön Operations Manager provides oversight for all daily activities of the production facility from the creation of products to the fulfillment of orders going out the door.

The Operations Manager plans and directs work and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, materials, productivity, quality control, while maintaining compliance with state and local regulations.

This position maximizes resources to achieve goals. They are expected to follow standard operating procedures and safe habits across all teams. This position requires hands-on management. You will be working on the floor with your employees filling in where and when its needed.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversees and assists in all daily activities of production including planning, and assignment.
  • Coordinate scheduling and realtime utilization of resources, keeping all departments in communication, while minimizing interference.
  • Communicates with central operations management to ensure smooth coordination between all departments, production, fulfillment, sales, marketing and accounting.
  • Ensures departments maintain production schedule adherence and regulation compliance with the state and safety standards.
  • Enacts contingency plans as needed; escalates and directs activities during systems problems; identifies potential problems, troubleshoots and participates in analysis of past issues providing input for future process improvements.
  • Fosters a positive environment and builds consensus among staff and departments to maximize efficiency and morale.
  • Leads and assists with general inventory management keeping all ingredients, packaging and sale ready inventory at expected levels based on sales projections and production goals.
  • Selects and hires facility staff for production, packaging and fulfillment, plus any supervisory roles needed.
  • Trains new and existing employees on current and updated procedures.
  • Addresses employee performance issues, generates improvement plans and performance evaluations.
  • Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
  • Performs all necessary functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel and processes assigned.
  • Recommends salary adjustments, transfers, promotions and dismissals.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
  • Supports the company in production planning and making sure the business is adequately resourced and that production schedules match product sales rates.
  • Responsible for quality assurance of all products and communicates issues and brings solutions.
  • Implements any new policies and procedures relating to the production process.

Requirements:


  • 2+ Years of Experience in Leadership Roles (e.g Management, Shift Lead, Team Lead, etc.)
  • 3+ Years of hands on METRC experience
  • 2+ years of Conflict Management and Negotiation
  • 1+ year of Inventory Experience
  • Planning, Decision-Making, and Delegation
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving

Work Environment:

This work environment can be loud due to machinery operating. The Employee may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and intense smells from different products. The environment is cool as our facility is kept at 68 degrees or lower to stabilize the chocolate.

Compensation:

This position starts at $75,000
