    We are seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our team in Herndon, VA. This individual will be responsible for supporting business development capture, particularly in securing government contracts. The successful candidate will help facilitate business growth through data collection, analysis, reporting, and sourcing new opportunities.

    Working closely with Senior Management in support of bid and proposal materials, this role will play a crucial part in identifying opportunities, optimizing processes, analyzing and reporting, developing and supporting capture and account plans, and assisting in the execution of business development activities.

    Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    Conduct market research to identify potential government contract opportunities.
    Assist in the development and execution of strategies to secure government contracts.
    Analyze government procurement trends and changes in government contracting procedures.
    Collaborate with Senior Management and cross-functional teams to gather information and compile compelling proposals.
    Maintain a database of government agencies, key contacts, and relevant industry events.
    Support the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    Assist with writing, editing, and formatting documents.
    Perform data analysis using databases and other tools such as Excel.
    Maintain and manipulate large amounts of data in Excel.
    Conduct research and analysis of issues identified by potential clients.
    Identify opportunities for process improvements.

    Preferred Work Experience

    Experience with Business Development
    Familiarity with government procurement processes and government contracting
    Experience with data analytics

    Job Skills

    Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage programs supporting multiple businesses
    Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    Ability to think and act strategically and proactively.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Eagerness to learn and adapt with a results-driven mindset.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and CRM tools.

    Strong desire to mentor, coach team members while being the company's central face in the market for all aspects of technology brand equity development and growth.

    Able to work under pressure (at times) and to be extremely flexible under changing priorities.
    Candidate must live in the Washington, DC area (DMV) and have the ability to attend occasional in-person client meetings in the Washington DC area

    Education

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred

    Communication Skills

    Excellent verbal and written skills, including strong presentation skills. Solid ability to interface, inspire and motivate at all levels of organization.
    Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner.
    Ability to collaborate effectively across all divisions within the company, focusing on driving a positive corporate culture.

    Travel

    Willing to travel occasionally as needed (up to 10%).

    Environmental Requirements

    Mainly sedentary; in an office environment. May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
    Flexible in working extended hours.
