- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential partners that fit Quantum's criteria and target market
- Help senior leaders build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners through proactive outreach and networking
- Develop and execute strategies to engage with key decision-makers at target partners, including senior executives and business development teams
- Analyze partnership opportunities and evaluate the potential impact on Quantum's business, including assessing the financial, operational, and strategic implications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, legal, compliance, and operations teams, to negotiate partnership agreements and ensure alignment with Quantum's objectives
- Manage the end-to-end partnership acquisition process, from initial contact to contract signing and implementation, ensuring a smooth transition and successful launch
- Monitor and track partnership performance metrics, identify opportunities for optimization and growth, and proactively address any issues or challenges
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform business development strategies and identify new partnership opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to raise awareness and build relationships with potential partners
- Develop presentations quickly and work with Quantum's marketing team to develop and execute lead generation campaigns
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or strategic planning within the financial services industry, preferably in lending or banking
- Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and services, with knowledge of lending processes and regulations
- High level of comfort with sales, prospecting and marketing tools & processes (to include prior CRM experience)
- Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong sense of entrepreneurship
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and implementing strategic partnerships, particularly with banks or financial institutions
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business opportunities and financial models
- Strong Powerpoint/GSuite slides skillset
- Strong external facing communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; high comfort in relating and working with the C-suite
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of initiative and drive to achieve results
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet multiple deadlines
- Willingness to travel as needed
