    Description
    Chainbridge Solutions is seeking an analyst interested in working within a Business Development team to provide research and analysis for Federal government IT contract opportunities. As the Business Development Analyst, you will report directly to the Business Development Operations Manager and collaborate with other members of the Leadership team, all working together to contribute to the company's growth strategy. Your focus will be on opportunity research by collecting information across the Federal government to continually improve the company's understanding and preparation in pursuit and award of government contracts. This position is also a pathway to Proposal and/or Capture Management for an individual who aspires to learn and expand their skills within a growing business development team.

    This role would work in a hybrid capacity from our office in Fairfax, VA.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct opportunity research by utilizing Deltek GovWin, Agency-specific procurement forecasts and websites, FPDS, and other common research tools.
    • Research and analyze historical company data to support proposal efforts.
    • Support the identification and qualification of Federal government opportunities aligned to the company's services and solution offerings.
    • Continually update opportunity records in the company's Salesforce opportunity pipeline.
    • Support the content development in response to RFIs and Sources Sought.
    • Monitor company's GSA IT Schedule contract via GSA eBuy website.
    • Support solicitation proposal responses by developing compliance matrix, help coordinating content development, engaging in color reviews, and proposal production.
    • Coordinates activities and participates in fact -finding and proposal planning meetings.
    • Support company marketing material development and updates in support of outreach events such as industry days, opportunity teaming, and general networking.

    Desired Experience and Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years related work experience.
    • Basic understanding or the ability to learn Federal government procurement processes.
    • Experience writing (especially responses to RFIs, Sources Sought, and White Papers).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Skilled at performing in-depth research, analysis, and data summarization.
    • Curious and driven to investigate and increase understanding of specific organization, domain, activity, opportunity pursuit, etc.
    • CMMI audit experience would be a plus
    • Basic understanding or the ability to learn Business Development and sales research tools (e.g., GovWin, FPDS, SAM, USA Spending, IT Dashboard, Salesforce).
    • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 and providing concise written analysis.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively and independently to accomplish work assignments.
    Physical and Mental Requirements:
    • Frequently remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time looking at a computer screen.
    • Continuous verbal and written communication with others to exchange information.
    • Continuous repetitive movements that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
    • Comprehension - Must continuously be able to understand direction and adhere to established procedures.
    • Organization - Must continuously be able to gather and classify information.
    • Reasoning and Decision Making - Must continuously use logic to analyze and interpret information and prioritize.
