SAS Developer-Analyst
Location:
Chantilly, VA
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAS Developer-Analyst to join our team, supporting a Federal Government client.
As a SAS Developer-Analyst, you will play a crucial role in a variety of development and analytical tasks, leveraging your expertise in SAS Programming, SAS Studio, and Visual Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manipulate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources for data discovery and mining.
- Translate data analysis into comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Create highend analytic visualizations using SAS software to support decisionmaking processes.
- Prototype solutions using various SAS software tools.
- Communicate key analytic findings to stakeholders, including executives and analysts.
- Collaborate with Partners and Clinical Coordinators to address service issues and maintain quality standards.
- Support and maintain production code and data as required.
- Attend inperson meetings and establish relationships with client resources, becoming a trusted advisor regarding enduser needs and SAS software use.
- Develop an understanding of the client's data environment to develop predictive models.
- Interpret statistical model results into actionable business insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience in analytics, business intelligence, and/or data management.
- Proficiency in SAS Programming, SAS Studio, and Visual Analytics.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with individuals of varying technical and business backgrounds.
- Experience with Base SAS programming, SQL programming, and SAS Macro language.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must be currently located in or willing to relocate to the Washington DC area.
- Must be willing to work from the client site up to 5 days per week.
