    ESSENTIAL DUTIES


    Village Handcrafted Cabinetry is a leading custom cabinet manufacturer with over 25 years of industry experience. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to expand our reach into new and existing markets.

    • Identify and pursue new sales leads to expand product offerings.
    • Present and promote Village Handcrafted Cabinetry's offerings to build lasting partnerships.
    • Cultivate robust relationships with clients and suppliers for long-term collaboration.
    • Understand the company's product line, market dynamics, and competition.
    • Conduct thorough market research to uncover growth opportunities.
    • Lead and coordinate the business development team to achieve goals.
    • Coordinate with the Marketing department to align strategies.
    • Oversee product line evolution to meet market demands.
    • Create tailored proposals to address client needs.
    • Provide consistent sales support for client satisfaction.
    • Attend industry events to stay updated on trends.
    • Develop accurate sales forecasts and surpass targets.
    • Train sales representatives for effective client acquisition.
    • Collaborate with design and sales teams to exceed client expectations.
    • Demonstrate strong time management, multitasking, and leadership.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
    • Motivate team members to achieve organizational objectives.

    SKILLS & DUTIES

    • Ability to identify and pursue new sales leads effectively, pitch company goods and services persuasively, and negotiate deals to drive revenue growth.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with both new and existing clients and suppliers.
    • Capacity to understand market dynamics, identify opportunities for business growth, and devise effective strategies for market expansion.
    • Thorough understanding of Village Handcrafted Cabinetry's products, as well as the ability to articulate their features and benefits to clients.
    • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive market research to uncover new business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
    • Ability to lead and coordinate a business development team, collaborate effectively with Sales Managers, and provide guidance and direction to achieve collective objectives.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, negotiate deals, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market data, assess business opportunities, and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, business priorities, and client needs.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage sales processes and track client interactions.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and senior management, to align business development initiatives with overall company objectives.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or a related field.
    • Proficiency in familiarity with essential software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and statistical analysis software.
    • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
    • Strong understanding of product development, market dynamics, and industry competition.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead a team, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities.
